Online Psychic Jobs

Interested in getting one or more online psychic jobs? It’s a tough market – both for prospective workers and for people who are trying to run businesses. But so long as you keep a few key tips in mind, you should be able to create a situation that meets your personal needs and abilities. Working from home is possible – even for psychics!

The key word there, of course, is “create.” You cannot expect to simply drop a few resumes in the mail and then wait for employers to contact you. If it ever worked that way in the psychic business industry, it does not any longer. You have be willing to hustle a bit and you have to be an active player in shaping your ideal work situation.

One important first step is to develop a niche. In other words, identify yourself as a specialist. Don’t identify yourself simply as a psychic – say that you are a psychic with a particular gift for reading Tarot Cards. Or maybe your knack is for dream interpretation. Since Freud – and probably long before – that has been an attractive field for psychics. Everybody dreams and almost everybody believes that their dreams have some special meaning, one that can be decoded and translated into advice that will improve the quality of their lives.

Other possible niches include: working as a spiritual medium. If you can act as a conduit between the physical world and the spirit world – or other planes of existence – you are likely to find a lot of customers. Of course, within that category there are sub-categories. Are you Clairaudient? Clairvoyant Do you work with angels? Does the language you use reflect a Pagan world view or a Christian world view?

The fact that you are working online need not be a hindrance. Almost any kind of psychic ability can be translated to an online business. You can even have your clients scan hand prints to you so that you can read their palm! Think about it – palm readings online!

Don’t be afraid to combine skill sets. You could offer online Tarot readings with a special emphasis on horoscope compatibility. You want to find a way to separate yourself from the herd – give your clients a good reason to see you as a unique psychic, one that can give them precisely what they need.

The key element to online jobs is trust. There is no way for you to operate a successful online business without it. Your clients are turning to you to provide them with key insights into real problems. They are depressed and they need help. They are trying to locate a missing sibling. They don’t know how to handle a difficult child. They want to clear up some past life issues through past life regression therapy. These are big deals! You want to be the psychic who heals them by hearing them and providing practical solutions to their problems.

If you do that, you can count on repeat customers. That is the bedrock of all work-from-home businesses. It’s true of the brick and mortar store and it’s true for the online merchant. If you help out one person, they’ll be back. And the real bonus comes from customer referrals. They will tell their friends who will tell their friends. If you can weather the early stages of little or no business, then you will see exponential growth afterwards.

Think of your clients in terms of a long-term relationship. They are coming to you for psychic advice. If you can provide that in ways that are useful to them – if you honor their privacy, if you are fair and honest in your business dealings – then they will stick around.

You also want to be sure that you are prepared for the stresses and demands of operating an online psychic business. Are you a people person when the people aren’t in person, so to speak? You need to be comfortable with things like Skype, email, chat, and message boards. You might need some basic web development skills.

And all of that is on top of the usual stuff – you have to know how to handle people who are in crisis. Can you calm them down quickly and reasonably? Do you know how to be firm with someone in terms of boundaries? Are you prepared for the intimacy of a psychic reading followed by a conversation about the importance of paying one’s bill on time?

Even if you are working for someone else, you need to be sure that you understand the unique demands of online psychic employment.

Brush up on your psychic skills. The first question your potential new employer is going to ask you is whether you are psychic. You don’t want to be a fraud, but you also want to be confident that you are up to the demands of helping people.

Take a resume course. Spend a few hours brainstorming how you might “sell” yourself. That’s a lot of the battle. Just as you need to stand out for potential clients, you also need to be able to convince existing psychic businesses that you are the right fit for their particular business model.

Be sure that you are in it for the long haul. You don’t want to take your psychic abilities lightly – don’t take this industry lightly either. If you are willing to do a little preparation, a little research and don’t mind taking a chance or two, then you will find the right online job.
